Brittany's love for animals developed at a very young age and for as long as she can remember she wanted to be a veterinarian. While attending undergrad at the University of Wisconsin River Falls, she started working at a veterinary clinic and became confident that her calling was in veterinary medicine. She graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and has worked at an urgent care practice in Des Moines, Iowa since. Professionally her special interests include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, endocrinology, and preventative care. Brittany and her husband Drew have two dogs; Gigi, a Norwegian Elkhound and Ruthie, a Plott Hound/Boxer mix. In her free-time, Brittany is an avid cyclist but also enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping, and traveling. Over the past few years she has developed a love for cooking Thai, Indian, and Japanese cuisine with Pho being her family’s favorite.
