Sarah Love, D.V.M.
Visiting Internist & Sports Medicine Specialist

Dr. Sarah Love earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2000 from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to complete a rotating internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta, Georgia and returned for a residency in small animal internal medicine to the University of Minnesota. She is a board certified specialist in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

As a veterinary student, Dr. Love became involved with canine sports medicine and was involved with research of sled dog physiology and metabolism for several years. She is a board certified specialist in the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Love started Sport Dog Specialty Medicine to offer her expertise in canine sports medicine and rehabilitation, as well as small animal internal medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Love loves to spend time in the outdoors with her family and her Labrador retrievers, hiking, biking, and participating in retriever field trials.
